Well, my predictions were accurate, the beans have dwindled dramatically. This will be the last week for green beans! Hope you have had your fill. Next year I will know to sneak in a fourth planting. Also last this week -- onions. For some reason about two-thirds of the onions I planted did not grow, so there are many fewer than I had expected.
The potatoes have not thrived--we should get a few more weeks out of them. I apologize for the potatoes with cuts from my shovel, and a few worm holes, but I wanted to give you as much as possible, since the harvest is turning out to be less than hoped for.
But never fear, the summer squash and cucumbers are still going strong!
In this weeks' share: beans, carrots, cucumber, lettuce mix, kale, onion, potatoes, summer squash, and tomatoes (for most).
If you could please return the containers the tomatoes are in, I would greatly appreciate it. You are welcome to return the plastic bags as well.
