The tomatoes managed to produce enough to give everybody just a few, hopefully the hoop house will keep them warm enough to continue ripening. The carrots and beets haven't bulked up as much as I would like - but they should make for a great roasted baby-root vegetable dish in combination with the potatoes.
More pears this week, which will need to ripen on your counter top, and a few of the least-blemished (but still ugly) apples. Organic apples are a tricky thing to get right, and I have not put any effort at all into managing them this year. Hopefully they will still taste good for everyone.
In this week's share: carrots, beets, kale (for the greens folks) lettuce mix, hot peppers, sweet peppers, onion, pears, and tomatoes.
