Sorry for the limited selection this week. The peas have trailed off, but the beans have not yet started. The bean plants are loaded with flowers, but I might have been protecting them from deer a little too vigorously - which also protected them from getting pollinated. Some of the cherry tomatoes are starting to ripen(!), so hopefully they will start rolling in in the next few weeks. The cucumbers are still struggling along, fighting off the cucumber beetles, but there are some baby cucumbers present. And the new ones I've started inside are doing well, so I just need to figure out the best way to protect them once I transplant them.
In the share this week: lettuce mix, chard, carrots, potatoes, onions, sage, summer squash (zucchini, patty pan, or yellow), and kale (for the greens folks).
If you are unsure of how to make use of the herbs you are getting, keep in mind you can dry them, and save them to use later in the year! Instructions are on the website, or just use google to find instructions on the best way to dry herbs.
