It is especially important to pat your greens dry today, as harvesting was a pretty soggy process this morning.
We are in a bit of transition period now with the veggies. Sugar snap peas are slowing down, and there are many veggies that are *so close* to being ready (broccoli, snap beans, cucumbers) but are not quite ready for prime time. Therefore, you are either getting sugar snap peas or cucumbers this week, as there were not enough of each for everyone. There will be a bit of that going on for the next few weeks. I do track who gets what each week, so you can be sure you will get everything eventually. I promise this will be the last week for turnips for a while!
In the share this week: beets, carrots, lettuce mix, sugar snap peas or cucumbers, baby onions, oregano, turnips, and chard for the greens folks.
Just a reminder that all the herbs can be dried and used later on (just like the herbs you have in your spice cabinet). You can find herb drying instructions here.
